Enjoying the atmosphere at CUT Steakhouse, Marina Bay Sands. Expensive, but definitely worth it, everything was wolfed up before I could take a photo! Mum enjoyed her Japanese wagyu filet mignon while I had the American wagyu filet mignon, my dad and brother were adventurous enough to go for the 900g Australian wagyu. What a whopper! Plus some perfectly crispy herbed french fries. Finger-licking good. For a comprehensive review, head to Singapore's best food blog
Singpore's iconic chilli crab on our first night at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant on the Riverwalk; forgot about my low tolerance for spicy food and proceeded to set my mouth on fire. again. and again. and again. Irresistible.
I was so excited to attend the grand opening of Laduree at Takashimaya!! Absolute diehard fan..... and tried one of the unbelievably sumptuous gold-leaf covered chocolate macarons. Is this love?? I think so.
Feeling ready for a garden party and a graceful frolic in this Red Valentino dress.
A wonderful experience, not too far from home. Singapore is astonishingly clean (maybe we should ban chewing gum too...?) and what struck me even more, was what a good mood all the locals that we encountered were in! In fact, I think I learnt more from the conversations we had with the taxi drivers than I would've otherwise. I think the only way to know a place truly is through its inhabitants and their experiences. And I'm a total sucker for listening to other people's stories.
